Police say driver that caused fatal crash early Sunday morning left scene.

Traffic homicide detectives said a BMW was traveling west on Duval Station Road, just off North Main Street, about 2 a.m. on March 6th, when it was hit by a newer-model silver car, whose driver left the scene.

Two of the three victims were thrown from the car, and the third was pulled from the vehicle. All three died at the scene.

The Jacksonville Sheriff`s Office identified the victims Monday as John "Curtis" Carlisle Jr., 24, of Yulee, Jonathan "Kyle" Cassani, 23, of Yulee, and Allison Bushley, 21, of Fernandina Beach.

Further investigation has revealed a witness identified a newer Ford Fusion silver in color (possibly 2013-2016 model year) with possibly a white male driver. The vehicle had both the headlights and fog lights on as it passed.  The witness advised it was 2:00 a.m. when the silver Ford Fusion was seen at the traffic signal at Duval Station Road and N. Main Street.  The vehicle was seen westbound on Max Leggett Parkway and then turned right on to Airport Road.  It was last seen westbound on Airport Road passing Duval Road continuing toward Jacksonville International Airport.  The witness did not observe any obvious signs of damage to the driver’s side of the vehicle as it passed.
